Somehow, miraculously, after abandoning them with a dubious homemade irrigation system and little rain for almost a full month, the tomatoes did not wither and die and are fruiting heavily. They are delicious.
Well now. Much has happened in the past month. I have to organize my thoughts and cull some photos for a bit before checking back in, but I'm home in London, where the air has a decidedly autumnal chill to it. It's not unpleasant, just unexpected.
Plus, we're tight up on a bank holiday and I need to find a place to hike for next weekend. Wales perhaps?
