The Alamo cube in Astor Place is a gathering spot for the downtown and NYU crowd. Olek is a street artist who has yarn-bombed a couple notable things- I especially loved her work last Xmas on the Wall Street Bull. Gothamist has a nice collection of pictures of her work.
I'm gonna head down there this week just to see this. Epic!
