Of what appears to be a red light district. An exploration of the area confirms my suspicion. We are wedged between a a row of antique coin dealers and xxx DVD shops. It's a nice place though, and very central. I can wander to the tulleries in just a few minutes.
Paris in springtime is alternately warm and sunshiny and pouring rain. You are either peeling off your coat or running for cover. It's lovely though, with all the gardens in bloom and parks to find a moment to laze about in.
